Tony’s Story
“I want to help everybody”
At just 7 years old Tony is a double amputee who captures hearts with his bravery, optimism, and infectious smile.
Having endured life-changing injuries at only six weeks old, Tony continues to battle with several health conditions which require ongoing treatment.
In 2020 aged 5, inspired by Captain Sir Tom Moore’s achievement of walking 100 laps to raise money for the NHS, Tony also wanted to give something back. Tony set himself the challenge of walking 10km unaided on his new legs and crutches to raise funds for The Evelina London Children’s Hospital - the hospital that saved his life and provides vital care and kindness to thousands of children every day.
Tony’s courage and positivity has struck a chord globally resulting in him raising well over his initial target of £500.
so far and counting,
Tony has raised £1,831,349
As Tony continues to make great strides, his one aim is to support children who need help and to make positive changes in their lives. Donations to the foundation go towards Tony’s selected charities.
