Letter From 10 Downing Street
On Tony’s last day of his 10K walking challenge Tony, and his mum Paula were joined by local MP Tom Tugendhat, who presented Tony with The Points Of Light Award from the Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Along with a letter from Boris saying:
In a personal letter to Tony, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said:
“Every day I say thank you to someone in our country for doing something special by recognising them as a Point of Light. Today that person is you!
I am lost in admiration for your fantastic fundraising feat. You have raised over £1million for Evelina Children’s Hospital – this is a wonderful achievement.
I am thrilled to honour you as the UK’s 1413th Point of Light. On behalf of the whole country, congratulations!”
